The Silvia front is being rethought. I am fairly sure it is legal now as long as you have the bumper support. There are many underprepared cars at the tours. A couple of years ago there was a kid in a honda on street tires. He told me he had brought a spoon to a gun fight. Don Nimi (PDM Racing) was there and he got beat.

Good to know, I'd entertain the idea on V710's over my current NT01's. Besides, it would be a cool experience regardless since I've only seen a handful of national level cars here in FL. Just wish they made a 255, I guess I'll be going with a 245/40/17, 245/45 seems too tall.

The deadline for early entry is 4PM Eastern today! I just signed us up and it's at 254 entries on a limit of 300. Gonna be fun!

You will have a lot of fun. Which class? I'm considering Wendover if I get enough done by then and everything is working well.

The current plan is:

DC ProSolo
Toledo ProSolo
Finger Lakes Tour
Lincoln Pro Finale & Nationals

We may try to squeeze an extra ProSolo in depending on DC and Toledo.

I HIGHLY recommend ProSolos. You get more seat time than a Tour, and the format is way more adrenaline pumping. Nothing like staging at the lights with another car next to you.

Also, if anyone needs some Hoosiers, I've got some 285/30/R18 and 315/30/R18 take-off A6's with life left in them for this season. I actually just sold off 10 285's today and still have a couple stacks left.

I know it is a ways off, but, if anyone is planning on making the trek to SCCA Nationals, I'd be glad to help with directions/hotels/restaurants/whatever. I live in Lincoln so feel free to ask questions.

If anyone is wanting to see more coverage from 2009's Nationals, here are my brother and I's blog entries from the event. Nothing pro quality but just some shots from the event. There are even some shots of our very own AceInHole.

We drove over from Savannah, GA to Valdosta for the Dixie Tour today. My wife and I drive in D Street Prepared. Jim Bennett and his co-driver are representin' with his 240sx in X prepared. It was rainy today so we didn't bother with the test-n-tune but we did get to walk the course. I'll report back tomorrow night.

Interesting, Looks like DJ had some coneage.
I always look at SS for the comparison with SM because I race against a fast SS car a lot. SM-112.9/SS-107 Believe there were some very fast SS people there.
The other classes I always look at because they are fast and relate to SM. IMO
SSM-109
XP-106
CSP-112

Weird that SS beat SSM and was very close to XP.
DJ, was weather a factor? How was the course, technical or more towards power? Top speed for you or others if you know?
