Default Does this Mod effect anto dive?

Does this spacer effect antidive?
I know this guy thought it would effect Roll center (which it doesnt obviously)

I can see the pivot locations of the arms are the same, but the caster rod uses that second pivot.

I put something like that on my Maxima several years ago... I can't remember the changes that it made, but I did like it better than without. It made bumpsteer worse actually, but I think it changed the camber curve enough that it was more drivable.
That car doesn't have a T/C rod though- it uses an L-shaped control arm like the rear of the 240, so it pivoted only vertically. no caster change through the suspension travel.

on a RWD car, it will change things a bit more due to the caster and camber curves, but I'm not sure exactly what.
All that really did at the end of the day was lengthen the control arm by a fraction of an inch and discombobulate bump steer by changing the geometry between the steering rack and the control arm.

So good? don't know. bad? don't know. indifferent? maybe.

But if the entire hub moved outwards, inc the tie rod pickup point wouldnt bumpsteer stay the same? as the arc is identical its just that both pick ups are further out?

To some extent, yes. If you move the lower joint out, you'll have to lengthen the tie rod to compensate and keep the alignment straight. But since it's not on the same vertical plane, you'll only be lengthening the tie rod by some fraction of moving the ball joint.

Basically it's the same as moving the upper mount in some to gain camber. same adjustments necessary there.

Anti-dive deals with the location of the pivots just like the roll center analysis. So no, it shouldn't affect anti-dive.

Anti-dive/squat only concerns the inner pivots of the suspension, so that does nothing to anti-dive.
