Default Road Atlanta 11-22-14

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IjvtHqziVYI

Helmet cam from my first session after lunch yesterday. The morning sessions were riddled with black flags for various reasons so it was good to get some full sessions in for the afternoon. I'll post some pictures up later, but I quickly found out that the rocket bunny diffuser that came with the kit can't live at 150+mph speeds. It was producing some kind of downforce because it quickly bent itself down and started dragging just before the mounting uprights broke in half.

Nice! I checked out Road Atlanta this summer and it looks like such a blast to drive on!

The helmet cam translates the feeling of speed well. Some of the fixed mount views look slower than they are. Nice!

I was wondering how fast you were going while I was watching, you seemed really relaxed I didn't think you were going that quick!

Thanks for posting that!

Back straight speed is a touch over 150 before I lift and usually brake from about 140. I'm still not man enough to drive it all the way into the braking zone as I'd pick up almost another 10mph and I just don't trust the brakes/tires quite enough.
