Thanks Def for the write up.

That was awesome. I was already thinking about doing this, but with the stock arms instead, since I have a pair of spare now.

I think the only limitation would be that the LCAs will hit the brake rotors if you space it down too much? I am only bringing this up because I remembered seeing this, but have no idea if it's true or not:

Left side is stock, middle is any type of FLCAs with longer ball joints/bolts/roll center adjusters, etc., and right side is GP Sports' very own Hyper Knuckle.

Basically, they're saying that if you space the FLCAs down too much with a longer bolt or roll center adjusters, that the FLCAs will eventually hit the brake rotors, but is not a problem with their knuckles because they moved the hole where the ball joint or bolt that bolts up to it, so that there is more room between the FLCAs and brake rotors.

I don't know how true that is, but perhaps you could take a measurement just to put that point to rest?

Anyone put a price on all this. just parts wise?

great tags too. lol
Arms are in the $160-180ish range. Bearings are about $40ish for 2, rod ends about $20ish. Then bolts, nuts and misc other stuff I'd guess maybe $20-30?

So I'd say I'm into them about $250-260 or so.

I'll take a measurement next time the car is up, but as you can see from the "final" pic, the arm is pretty far from the brake rotor(OEM Z32). It will eventually make contact, but I imagine you'd have the spindle to bearing spacing in excess of 3-3.5" at that point.

The stock arm does extend out further(probably for strength since it's just ~1/8" stamped mild steel), so maybe it is tighter than these arms.

That makes sense.

Oh ya... the godspeed FLCAs they are advertised as s13, s14, s15 err... aren't s13 =/= s14/s15? Just wondering... The s14/s15 knuckle is diff than the s13 knuckle right.

The way they are stock:

They are basically IKEYA formula knock offs right?

Yea, I've seen that, and I've also seen them advertised as S13 and S14 separately. Not sure if they make two different shank angles or whatnot. I actually never even checked the Godspeed shank on the spindle premodding, as I was pretty sure I wanted more adjustment than you can get with the shank that comes with them.

I also choose not to use the steering stops. Figure I'm not banging from lock to lock on my steering rack often.
