GT1 GTR not racing at Le Mans (2010)

About half way into the article it states that the GT1 Nissan GTR's are not going to run in the 2010 race.

Two manufacturers not included this year are Maserati and Nissan, which were both expected to gain entries in GT1. It’s unclear whether the teams were rejected or they simply didn’t request invites, as the ACO doesn't disclose turned down entries.

I dont have a clue as to why (article didnt say either.) Its kinda stupid to run a test season in 2009 then not run the car at the biggest race of the year. The GT1 category is still around for the 24 hours. Thats really disapointing because was looking forward to seeing a Nissan tackle La Sarthe.

Yea that kinda of sucks i would love to watch the gt1 run as well as a possible gt1 maserati gran turismo.

Well that should let Government Motors breathe a bit easier...you know how much the government hates competition...

Its probably because the team that ran the car last year shut down and the new team taking over the program doesn't have a ton of circuit experience, so this will basically be another development year.
