Ritt, you really missed out, but I hope you are feeling better. The weather would not have been friendly to someone who was feeling sick.
Shannon decided to run it similar to a normal track event. He separated the 70+ cars into 3 groups. beginner, intermediate, and advanced. I got to drive my brother's E46 sedan for about a half hour, then his friend's New body style Civic Si, and then another friend of mine's well-prepped M3. Each group was lead by a pace car and no passing was allowed. The beginner group was held back a little, but most of them didn't mind, they had never been on track ever before so they thought they were flying! lol. A few in the intermediate group were a little disappointed in the speed cliff chose to go. But up in the advanced group we were led by a TT record holder, Spec Miata driver, and personal friend of mine who was holding back indeed, but was plenty fast for the rest of us.
