Ritt, you really missed out, but I hope you are feeling better. The weather would not have been friendly to someone who was feeling sick.

Shannon decided to run it similar to a normal track event. He separated the 70+ cars into 3 groups. beginner, intermediate, and advanced. I got to drive my brother's E46 sedan for about a half hour, then his friend's New body style Civic Si, and then another friend of mine's well-prepped M3. Each group was lead by a pace car and no passing was allowed. The beginner group was held back a little, but most of them didn't mind, they had never been on track ever before so they thought they were flying! lol. A few in the intermediate group were a little disappointed in the speed cliff chose to go. But up in the advanced group we were led by a TT record holder, Spec Miata driver, and personal friend of mine who was holding back indeed, but was plenty fast for the rest of us.

On our local website drivelex.com one guy has already posted his pics, but nothing has been posted in the S2KI thread yet.

That track looks FAR from finished, going by the pictures and the video.

Yeah. It's been in that exact stage since I was there last about 6 months prior. I'd project it to be finished late in the year next year.
