  • Issues with forum navigation/new posts..

Is is just me, or does this happen to others as well?

When I log in and click the 'new posts' link up top, it tells me there have been no new posts in the last 24hrs, yet there are entire conversations going on each day..

Also, the quick links--> Mark forums read button hasn't worked in a long time. I ignored that issue because the New Posts link worked.. well now that one doesn't and all the forums show unread!

    Anyone else having similar problems?

"New Posts" works fine for me.

Have you tried logging out, clearing cookies, and logging back in?

I'll dig around and see what I can find if that doesn't work. There were tons of broken things that I fixed a few months ago, but I may have broken other things in the process.

I've flushed eveyrthing on this PC multiple times in the last few months for various reasons.. symptoms are still the same. other vBulletin forums work just fine, so I'm going to blame you. :P

I have a similar issue (which is seemingly a known issue)

When I click on new posts, it purges all the posts in general and ONLY shows the actual new threads/posts, as opposed to all the threads with the threads with new posts being highlighted and placed atop the sort list

        I find that somewhat annoying

I changed a couple of settings. Let's see how it goes?

I guess I was having a similar problem as well. The new posts lists for me almost doubled after you tinkered with it.

                      Alright hot.

If there's anything else, just ask. I didn't do the initial setup here so I'm still sort of learning my way around.

                          Thanks for updating.

That was the only gripe I've had for a while. made navigation a pain when you had to just look at the dates to see if there was something new in a particular forum.

If you feel froggy, you can probably prune a few things to clean up a bit... like the Versa forum.
