    CD009 vs T56

For some time, Collins has their adapter to fit a CD009 to an ls1 avaliable. After adding it all up it looks like they're both the same price to instal on a ls1. Curious what everyones experience are with both transmissions reliability-wise.

They are both strong. CD009 has a really low 1st gear and T56 has a really tall 6th gear. You can work around some of that with final drive ratios, but would need to plot them to figure out your options.
I was looking at a TKO500/600 but read a lot about them not shifting well at high RPM. Donít know if that applies to the T56.

How do the shapes fit the trans tunnel?

Donít know about used prices, but you can buy a new CD009 for less than a new T56.
