  • My S14 on the first shake down with the vq37vhr

A little clip of the car running with the vq37vhr engine swap. I was giving rides to people, for a customer appreciation day at the Colorado State Patrol training track. It was the first time driving the car sort of aggressively without power steering and the gas pedal not mounted; great for footwork. I found, as the day went on, I warped the brake rotors and there was some brake pad fade. I was able to find some problems quickly so it was a good shake down. I love how the car sounds at 8000 rpms!

Fantastic sounds. Now get some video at HPR ringing the snot out of it!

Were you able get your hood flush mounted?

As for brakes, what's on the car now? If you need some help in that department, PM me. I have a front and rear BBK solution that won't break the bank if you didn't notice in my build thread.

I am making slow progress on it, i want to get it out this summer. Yes i have the hood shutting, i had to cut some of the underside bracing though on the hood. I just have z32 brakes on all four corners. i would like to have some better brakes for endurance racing.
