  • Race 2 at Barbagello in my 180SX

    Hi Guys,

Its been a while since my car was running due to unforeseen circumstances but finally made it out for a run. I was down on power for the day as my engine was completely in pieces the day before and was run in at 11pm the night before so boost was capped at 16psi for the day. While I have been away the rest of the field have caught up so there was a great battle for the lead for the whole race though my life would have been easier if I could have got off the line better haha

Anyway enjoy the vid as it was one of the closest races I have been in.

That RB30 muscled you on the straights. Good run tho!

Looked like you had a hard hit looking to the outside for a pass towards the end. Thanks for sharing!

Great racing, the battle with the R32 was intense at the end.

Watching your vid, I never knew the Evo was there. Watching the video from the Skyline showed just how much more fun you were having. good run man! It sucks to be a faster car and driver simply beat by someone else's horsepower.

Yeah was a pretty intense battle with no contact at all through out the race but I just didnt have the power to hold my ground down the straights against the RB34 powered R32. The tyres started to go off mid race and was difficult to keep it in a straight line haha

I pretty much ran out of laps after bogging down at the start and going back to 4th , I got him the same way around the outside in race 1 but was able to hold on down the straight and could then build a small gap.

That EVO was built by JUN in Japan and is also super quick but due to our rules to get better parity it has to run a bit more weight being 4wd same as the R32 due to its engine size , if anyone is interested I can link you to the class rules as they do keep the cars fairly close on the track ?

Seems like you were catching them up under braking and they would use their power out of the corners.
