  • 2015 Solo Nats...Lincoln NE....

Ok.....so I got a few buddies I race online with (I know....gay - but fun) going to Nats....Thinking about making the trip out from CO (9 hrs)...

    Who's going from here?

Gimme more reasons to pull my Taj Mahal trailer out to NE.......

If you need help I got good wrench/troubleshooting skills.....

Most likely myself, Jason M and PJ Corrales (Ace In Hole).

PJ's car looks to be competing and winning all over the place this year, XP and SSM. I think SM is too easy for him now.

I'm sure my co driver and I will be massive underdogs on the development and driving abilities of PJ and crew as well as Jason M. But we'll be there to give it a shot.

Only locally... it would take a lot for Panda to win SSM, and I think in the right hands it could. That might be why I'm toying with ESP...

Only way to get better is to keep trying!

My car is making good torque now. Power is down compared to the big boys. The car is decently sorted. Unfortunately we lost our autocross site this year so driving wise we need more practice. We have to go to Milwaukee region which is only an hour and a half away or play on smaller lots with less grip.

With great power comes an even greater need for better handling

                More power = more conage!

I'am planning on being at Nationals again this year.

Hopefully my car will be competitive. Last year my car was just a touch slow compared with Godzilla and the Panda. At my second event of this season I raw timed the SSM spring nationals winner. I'm hoping that's a sign of things to come. The car feels pretty amazing with the Penske's on the rear.

Some updates for those following along at home like I am:
PJ took 3rd in his G35 in ESP
David White and Todd Kean ist in 1st and 2nd in Panda after day 1 in SM
                    - followed closely by Jason Merritt and Joey Sim in 4th and 6th in Jason's car
The Subaru I mentioned in PJ's thread is in 5th
Just heard mentioned elsewhere that Panda broke so we'll see.

Bad news for Jason Merritt. It appears like the engine went. He finished his runs in PJ's ESP G35.
