  • A2A Intercooler core souce

Looking to track down a reasonably price air to air Inter cooler core with decent fin density. So far Bell and Garrett are in consideration...

I don't think I've ever seen a used core before... I couldn't imagine someone cutting off end tanks and selling an ic as a core.

I'm looking for new core because I'm fabricating an ic for my f30 bm and s13 track car.

Thanks Def that's good to know!

I had a pretty good experiences with vibrant products in the past never tried one of their cores though...

          Anyone with experience with either?

I've seen some Vibrant cores up close, they seem to be pretty high quality. The Garrett stuff is likely better, at a higher price. Figure probably 60-80% more for the same size.

If it were me, I'd probably do the Vibrant core and Vibrant vanjen clamps on it for the same cost as a Garrett core.

Yeah I took look at the vibrant cores and was pretty surprised. It was expecting low cost China fin stack... I was surprised to see offset fin stack. Pm sent
