There are some left over. Will start this up in roughly 4-6 weeks after moving again and getting everything unpacked.

I've got these all set aside, just need to find a bit of time to go through and inventory everything and post it up. Should be soon!

I know I know, soon has come and gone a few times, but job + kids = no time to even sleep, much less do more fun DefSport stuff

Sent you a PM. For everybody else that might be looking, still have M55 sleeves left over. No spring perches left.

Hey Def. This is how my coilovers sit after 2+ months with zero preload & an 8 inch spring. Do you think I should cut the bump stops in half or is it fine as is?

It was such a pain in the ass trying to get the gland nut on. The tool kept slipping out of the holes or the sleeves would just spin. I don't even think I got it to 30 pounds. I just hope blue loctite keeps it all together.

This is at static ride height? I might trim 1/2-3/4" off the bump stop. It's not the worst thing in the world to lightly contact the bumpstop here and there - it gives you a nice gentle bump in rate when they're long like that. When you trim them, you really increase their spring rate which makes hitting them that much worse.

It honestly doesn't look that bad if that's static ride height, but I still might slightly trim them. Not half though.

30 ft-lbs is probably more than I usually got on my gland nuts, so you should be fine with blue loctite on there.

                        • Where is every one getting their rear lower brackets for the S13? Stance claims to be out of them and the ISR one I purchased is M53X2.

                          • That picture is static ride height. Not looking forward to taking it all apart to trim 1/2" off. Thanks again for all the help, Def. Really appreciate it.

It would be easier to source used lower brackets from the usual forums. At this point, I don't think Stance or many companies are in any hurry to restock parts for old S13's. You can also check the specs of those cheap Ebay Chinese coilovers.

                            • I am in need of S13 lower brackets as well...Stance rear lower S13 brackets are 53mm BTW ( according to stance).

On FRSPORT.com they sell the Z32 rear lower brackets in both 53mm and 55mm.

At the moment I am committed to stock rear uprights because of rear brake shenanigans.

I emailed ISR and they are as well 53mm as 570sx said. Also, I can not track down part numbers for KTS brackets.

Sooo... no luck on my end for an M55 x 2.0 S13 style rear lower bracket to be used with these sleeves, might just need to make an adapter for the Z32 fork style or something...not sure if that would work dimensionally but could be an option. Or weld something up to an already M55 threaded sleeve...

I do plan to switch to the aluminum uprights once I sort my rear brakes out which will solve this part sourcing issue.

Otherwise, I have everything to complete my setup but Konis and rear lower brackets...

Sorry, don't want to derail the thread, but since this forum is dead AF, it doesn't really matter much.

What rear brake shenanigans? I just want to let you know I have a real performance based rear brake solution that can allow you to keep a Z32 ebrake setup if you want and can be run on stock, Z32, or aftermarket uprights without chopping things up.

PM me if that peaks your interest.
