  • S14 rear toe arm eccentric bolts

This might be a stupid question but I searched and couldn't find the answer. I have an S14 subframe in an S13 and am trying to use some SPL rear arms with it. I assume the toe arms I have are for the S13 as they fit that subframe fine but have to be shimmed to fit snuggly in the S14 subframe. That's easy enough, but then I noticed the S13 eccentric bolt isn't long enough.

Does the S14 use a longer eccentric bolt there? If so do you guys typically swap to that when you swap subframes or do you use a normal bolt and adjust the length of the arm itself?

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, the S14 eccentric bolts are a little bit longer. I just used them with my arms but torqued the crap out of them so they didn't move.

If you don't use them and just put a regular bolt in there, you need to make sure you shim them with washers so they're fixed in place. If you just use a regular bolt with no washers, they can slide around a bit and lose alignment.

S14 toe arms are wider on the subframe side.
