HPDE spot available saturday June 28th, PIR!!
Ok, here's the deal. I was registered to attend an HPDE on THIS saturday in group 2 (intermediate class), but yesterday I developed a leaking head gasket which has been causing the car to overheat and the engine to miss. The mechanic is hopeful that some block sealant will work well enough to get the car through the day at the track. I've pretty much thrown in the towel on this event.
So....if the sealant doesn't work (I'll find out by friday 2-3 pm), is anyone interested in taking my spot for this event? If I can't find a replacement driver then I only get a 50% refund. IF I CAN find a qualified driver to replace me, then someone is going to get a smoking deal for some track time!!! I believe I paid $170 for this event.
I spoke with the organizer of this event. She is ok with this as long as the replacement driver is qualified for group 2. Basically you need to have some track days, autocrosses, etc., under your belt recently. Or if you know an instructor who can vouch for you, that would work as well.
