got a bunch of cool stuff done this week.

i had tein front tension bars on the car. then i bought a car with the spl ones on and had to swap them, and install the cooling plates.

then i've needed to do this for along time. added the heat wrap, its fairly time consuming. but now that i did it, i'll bet the manifold cracks. bought the 1" roll x 50 feet, got a good bit left too. this should help with my hot pipe poping off. the heat was actually pulling the coupler off the pipe with 2 t bolt clamps.

Then i bought some 3m clear bra stuff off ebay. its not that expensive. i just mainly want to do behind the wheels. i can always repaint the bumper and hood. but i might still do them, we'll see. This stuff isn't too hard to mess with if you've done tint you can do this. it doesn't like corners, its too thick. you can't see it in the picture but isn't that the point. the mark just behind the tire is from wet sanding and buffing. got both sides behind the rear tires done. rubber tint squeagy works great as well as a heat gun. I used that crappy press and seal crap to draw what i wanted on it and then traced it onto the 3m stuff. then apply like tint. and done. i have some nicks already up front so, i'm gonna fill them in before i put it on up front.

it will naturally bend out of the way when the wheel is turned locktolock

yeah i had to cut a bit off of mine, it was hitting the wheels and scraping the paint off. all good now.

thats quite a list, a_ahmed

I had to move my ducts up all the way with the "play" available in the holes and bend them quite a bit up front and where they get close to the wheel. They were squealing and scraping the crap out of the wheels and pavement under turning/suspension compression.

Keep an eye on the 3M stuff. Some of my Corvette buddies have quit using it. After some track time, grit gets UNDER then film and starts scratching the paint.

really that sounds kinda hard to do. I'll be keeping an eye on it either way.
