Finally got to take my 240 out to shake the dust off!!

- No dyno tune, so really rich at 8psi max boost.
- No alignment, so eyeballed camber/ caster/ toe settings
- New brake MC, so proportioning settings all messed up, and probably some air in the lines

+ Car was bolted and ziptied down. Zero leaks and only 1 blown IC coupler the entire time (clamp failed and split in half, so not even my fault).
+ Car felt strong. I ended up letting another friend who's car was T-boned over winter drivet it in the last heat. Of the 4 people driving my car, 3 trophied. The one who didn't (Jenna) was running Novice class.

- I forgot to load the memory card for the HD camcorder I have, so video was done with a point-and-shoot camera on movie mode.

Anyways, here's the video:

And for the hell of it, me instructing Jenna on one of her runs:

At the end of the run, we came in and the timer was all messed up :( It would've been a good run for her, though. Next event is this weekend, on a smaller lot. I should have some exterior footage and a few pics by next week.

Agreed. In-car from autocross isn't all that great by itself. Maybe because it's harder to visualize the course vs. a track?

i like it and could follow the course, you looked very smooth, and the course designer seemed to be a huge fan of the slalom

Was this at the Devans airfield?

Turbo setup is a GT2871r on a KA24DE (built bottom end). SSAutochrome manifold, O2, and downpipe. SARD 850cc injectors, AEM EMS computer. Ebay intake piping and intercooler, chopped in half to fit under the bumper support.

Yup, although it was a lame 2-leg setup, rather than the full loop. This coming weekend should be a full loop event, though.

I thought about driving up again for the test and tune, but I just went up last week, and gas is a bit expensive right now. :(

Devens is such a nice site though. Hope we will still have this site next year.

I experimented with the 2-step at DC, but couldn't get it set quite right. I managed a 1.9 60' with it set to 2700, though. From there I could just dump the clutch, the rears would spin slightly, catch, and I'd already be into boost (GT2871r is awesome). My problem was the VSS switch was set to 15mph thinking it would hold it back if I had too much wheelspin, but it would rev-cut so hard the car would jerk back. I'll need to try it with it set to 1 or 2 mph, if not add the clutch switch as an auxiliary switch.

I fine tuned the rev limiter for 3000 rpm off the line, building 1 - 2 psi. We'd occasionally still roast first gear, but for the most part it would catch and go. When it wasn't instantly going to redline, it would spin a few times before digging in, resulting in a 2.0x 60'. The plan is to limit first gear to 7 - 10 psi (whatever is the lowest I can get) and launch from 3500-4000. I need to do some launch testing at some point.

Other than that, I need to plant the rear more coming out of corners. The plan is to run 150# tender springs, which should get me about 1.3" more droop travel. It should help keep the rear tire on the ground under full lateral load. Otherwise, I may drop my rear springrate to 400# and see what happens.
