Only good enough for a 2nd place in class finish (3rd overall PAX), as Dave took 1st in class (2nd overall PAX). The car is down a bit on power from a boost leak up top (only holding to about 16psi) but it seems to work OK:

Your car is crazy fast! I was picturing your hand speed from your in car video footage, last weekend while I was on track driving my car. It looks like you turn the steering wheel as fast as you possibly can! My car is starting to get to the same point.
What is your steering ratio? Is still OEM?

Still OEM S14 steering. I've got a HICAS rack on standby, but it might end up in the S13 as a replacement, and I'll rebuild the other one in the meantime.
When we first had the roll centers adjusted + splitter + wing, we ended up with blisters on our hands at the following test and tune, which is why we both wear gloves while driving now. For a while it was like "I can't physically steer this thing fast enough!"

I've had a hicas rack before, it's not a huge improvement but it's certainly better then nothing.
Logr let me drive his car around the pit's. His spindle mod is wonderful! I'am not allowed to talk about his pedals, but the steering just feels "right". It feels like how a race car should feel imo... I'am really surprised you have not shotened your steering arm's yet. Your car would be way easier to drive with some modded spindles. You could also play around with ackerman a little.

I actually think the HICAS rack does a lot....if you get used to it, you have to put a lot more input to other cars. Case and point: I tried an RX8 this weekend. Plowed through a lot of stuff on my first run. Second run, I adjusted and it was much better, but I felt that my inputs in the Mazda were exaggerated, even though it was turning minimally.
