http://www.ksport.co.uk/

Well 200sx being the equivalent of our silvias/180sx/etc... but with an sr20det stock.

Anyways I lurk around many different international s chassis forums to see things we don't see daily here... well there are two ksport equiped track race cars that swear by ksport parts (then again they are sponsored).

The seats they have but do not offer anywhere but europe seem to kick ass and are 'affordable'... but well shipping would kill.

Then there are the brake kits... 12 piston calipers/ wtf? Each piston is so tiny, I wonder what kind of effect that has... bigger vs larger pistons. The 8 piston kit has 'descently' sized pistons though... well check it out for yourself

Of course the ksport coilovers are crap damper-wise as is known made in taiwan, but hey check it out.

I do gotta say their quality appearance-wise is top notch on all their parts at least from what I see on the site.

The quality on all of their parts is about the same. From the brakes to the coilovers...nice and pretty but not functional.

Yeah I think you could not have said it better heh... just thought I'd share the find as it is on euro s chassis forums. The apexi race cars is the ones i was talking about they user their parts.

The TC rods they sell SCARE me, they are toothpick thin!

Point of information: The S13 version of the 200sx never came with the SR20DET. They're all CA18's all the way up until the S14.

Brady Dorhman is/was running custom valved KSports on his KSport/FullRace time attack S14. I haven't heard from him in a while but he was pretty fast.

He actually sold that car this summer! I saw it on ebay and was quite surprised. Not sure what he's up to now, or what the new owner is doing with it.

Well he also has an old World Challenge S14 as well. He's probably driving that around.

He was doing Time Attack's in his KSport sponsored RSX after the S14 sold. The only thing that how well he did shows...is how much a really good driver can overcome a POS suspension to a point. I think the same could be said for how well PJ did with his POS D2's..

Well he was running an early release of the external res. setup, but I don't recall if they were revalved.

quick question.. i am under the impression for somereason that u really dont want to adjust the compression on a coilover when ur adjusting rebound because it takes the work away from the spring right?? but u want rebound to be adjusted so that u can slow down the weight transfer right?? or am i way off.. (im such a suspension noob)

Ideally you'd adjust compression and rebound completely independantly of each other, as they affect different handling characteristics, and are set in accordance with different car attributes.

Read up on something like http://www.se-r.net/suspension/shock_tech.html for basics.
