Hello all.

This looks like a nice forum, with a lot of knowledgeable people. Spent most of the day reading through a thread on roll center adjustment...

Anyways, I am the proud owner of a z31, the red-headed stepchild of the z car family...

Any other z31 owners on this forum?

I do a little autocrossing from time to time and am looking to track my z sometime in the near future, but its gonna need a lil work first.

Anyway, on to the pics.

Welcome! Sure is the red-headed stepchild...I don't really see them except in junkyards, but I'm in the midwest and anything old and RWD has been crashed in winter or rusted away already.

Nice!!
Welcome!
I always liked the Z31, but yeah they tend to get a bad rap. (at least it's not an NA auto 280ZX 2+2!!!)

Where you live? looks kinda like a TX plate?

I am from Southern Illinois.

Little info on the car:
front loader maxima upper plenum
t3/t4 (only 10 psi currently)
Spearco FMIC
nistune
suspension techniques springs
tokico illuminas
mustang saleen sc knockoffs 17x9 F 17x10 R

Everything is in place for decent hp numbers. Its making about 230 whp/275 tq but I think there is much more in it at the current 10 psi, just need to work on the tune. I am going to get it up to about 350 whp and leave it there. More interested in handling than large hp numbers. Looking to do a semi trailing arm to SLA conversion in the rear sometime in the future.

Yes sir it is. Fairly common swap in the z31 world. Flows a lil better than the stock one that does a u-turn at the rear of the engine compartment. It also allows for shorter intercooler piping. Here is a pic for comparison.

Heh.. I was like "There's only one Z31 I know that's that clean... hell it's even that color.."
then I scrolled down and saw the bottom of the pic. Hey it IS David's car! :)

... I just wish that car was still that clean... Last time I saw it, it was buried under about 3" of dust in the back of a local shop and had a forsale sign on the dash.

It's kinda funny.. the 89-94 VG Maxima guys always use Pathfinder or Z31 manifolds, and they refuse to go back to the 2nd gen Max manifolds..
