I was playing around with the Deviant housings the other day and realized that I didn't want to mangle the gland nut with a vice grip so I set out to look for a gland nut tool. This is what I ended up getting.

The tips are replaceable via the hex on the sides as seen here. However, the tool does not come with any extra tips (useful for some JDM coilovers).

I found the tool on Ebay from this seller for around $40 shipped. I have no affiliation with this guy.

Hopefully this is not a repost. Please excuse the dust.

Heheh, I was tempted to "fab" something for myself but knowing how clumsy I am I was afraid that I would mangle the gland nut, the housings, or worst the shaft of the inserts.
=).

Another tip. slide a length of clean PVC pipe over the strut shaft to protect it.

that's a cool looking tool. Will need to buy one for my toolbox one of these days.
