Looking good.

You going to paint the cage pimp green with a little bassboat glitter in there?

Finally. Looks good! Probably the most solid "rollbar" type of cage I've ever seen. It definitely makes my Kirk Racing 4 point look lame, but for $400 total outlay, I can't complain.

Definitely paint it pimp green. I recall you having a certain affection for John Deere green, but I'm a big fan of the GT3RS green.

Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy in white. I used the same thing in black on some engine bay parts and suspension pieces, and have been pleased.

At $400, that was 1/5 what I paid. Not too shabby.

I like CAT yellow after getting my VC done (for free) in it, and advocate JD Green whenever I get a chacen.

Eff painting the cage a different color from the interior at this point. I don't have enough patience for that.

Now, I must say... that is a rear STB :D. Looks very good, Andy!

I'm also surprised to see the FAT EVO3 seat actually fit ;)

The first try interfered with the door, so he moved it inboard.

What's the difference between a "roll bar" type cage, versus a "roll cage"?

Roll bar is usually 4 points and consists of a main hoop behind the front seats and triangulates to the rear.

Roll cage is at least 6 points(sometimes more) and has tubes going forward of the front seats to provide more roll over/side impact protection.

AAAAAAHHH!!

I gotcha!

For some reason I didn't see that he didn't have the front tubes. I guess yesterday was much longer than I had thought previously lol Since Andy showed me these pics yesterday.

How much more did they want to finish up the front?

Yeah really...?

How much did your "roll bar" cage cost?

A local cage fabricator said he'd charge me 100 a point. So a 4 point roll cage would be $400, but I don't know if that includes any cross or reinforcement bars or not.
