Hey guys,
I'm Alan. Been a 240sx nerd for going on 10 years, but took a break from the scene (Miata) for the last 2.5 years. Recently did my buddy a favor and bought his turbo (KA-T) S13 before he moved back to Thailand for a while. So now I'm selling the Miata and going to do some much needed maintenance to my newish S13.
I'm a Mechanical Engineering major and should be finishing up in the next 2-3 years. Hopefully I'll be getting into FSAE at UAB as I did while I was at UA. I've been in college at 3 (going on 4) different schools since August of 2001....so hopefully I'll graduate and get on with life this time around.
Anyway, here's a bit about my car:
1991 coupe SE
140k chassis
55k engine
35k transmission
CA18 4.3 VLSD
T04/T28 (practically no lag)...came off a modded R33 iirc
Suspension has Tein HE on it. And frankly, the ride quality sucks. I know HE aren't valved very well, so I'm going to ditch them eventually in favor of Koni 8610 all around w/ GC, veilside180sx's shock mounts, the camber plates off my HEs, and probably leave it at that. I'll redo bushings eventually as well...but before all that.....tires, paint, alignment, raise the ride height a bit, and generally just clean the car up.
Oh, and if you'd like a lightly modded Miata (its seen a few autocrosses), PM me. :D
