Well, I was so pumped to get home and throw the suspension together...only to findout that the rear coilvoer tubes were the wrong ones in the box.

I called them at 4:45, and a guy named Jason picked up. I felt like a jerk calling, but I was trying my damndest to beat their close time.

I explained everything that happened, and the was more than willing to send me the new tubes on free '3 day' shipping (so it puts me at around monday, so not to bad). Also said he'll gladly exchange the wrong ones for the new ones at no cost.

Can't complain about that! So while I'm a dumbass for not looking at all of the sleeves initially (i figured the first 2 were good, why bother), it was at least a somewhat quick solution.

Whew. I was really unsure of what sort of service I was going to get, but it worked out really well.

So just a little heads up on those and their ground control experiences...as they did make me really happy on this situation.

They were real nice when I talked to them as well. Too bad he didn't follow through with his promise. That was 6 years ago, and I still don't have the springs that I initially requested.

Good luck, hopefully it works out better for you!!!

What did they ship you the first time?

I had a good experience with them once before.

I broke off the tightening bolt in the height adjuster and needed a new one, they 3day shipped it to me for less then 20$ i think.

They charged you $20 for an allen bolt?

I'm not sure what they are

The springs are perfect, but the 2 'rears' were like, these oddball 1.5" ID tubes (compared to the 2" fronts). The right height, just totally wrong size.

You sure they didn't just have the black reducer insert in them?

I got a whole new spring perch because i didn't feel like trying to get the broken bolt out of the aluminum.

That makes more sense then, for what they charged.

A bunch of guys on bimmerforums ripped GC a new one in the vendor comments section(me included), so maybe Jay is taking our advice and improving
things.
