If I ever do anything to the motor I'll just copy Kojima's VG33 high compression motor build that came out to like 240 hp/260 tq NA.
I will probably tow my car with it for the time being as well.

From what I remember, Kojima thinks that one sucks for towing. My 2003 does well except on long inclines, but it isn't my long-term towing solution.

Well I'm inclined to agree, but it would only be a temporary solution until I can justify selling for a real diesel.

F-150 might be in my future. The 5.4 can handle as much as I'd need.
My Dad has a 92 F-350 that needs a lot of work. I'm thinking about picking it up from him in a coupla years and buying an enclosed trailer.

I've already got the wife talked into a 97-99 F150 for a 2nd vehicle this summer, with our 2nd boy on the way, the 240 will have to be parked as a DD :). Around our area I've seen clean 99 Xcab, 4x4's in the $6K range...
The 97 F250 (light duty model) that I had with the 5.4L pulled a 28ft camper with ease, so I think it will do fine with a light 240.

The 5.4 Automatic F150's are rated about 7000 lbs, which will do a avg. Nissan with ease.
