Hey guys,

Just wanted to post a little update on my car. I got the car home last Friday night, it was been nearly 8 months that she was at the body shop. Overall, I am not too happy with the amount of time they took to complete the car and I also noticed that my passanger side signal light wiring had been ripped from the car. So now I need to source a connector for the silvia side marker as well as the usdm front blinker connector.

Nonetheless, I am happy to have the car home finally and I installed the KW's and wheels on Sunday night. I am planning on getting tires and an alignment this week as well. Hopefully I can make it out to the local autox on Sunday.

Here are a few pics:

Thanks for all of the compliments guys. As some of you may know I just had the freak water pump failure that damaged the hood and a few other things. Well, I stopped by the body shop today and the hood is already completed. They were finishing up clearing the hood when I arrived. I also had them paint the hood hinges as well.

I hope to have a little time this week/weekend to get all of the parts removed. Then, next week I am supposed to pick up a spare SOHC motor which I will be using the pullies off of as well as ordering a new OEM water pump and new belts.

I will still have to order the aluminum radiator and source some altima fans. I am thinking of adding a nismo thermostat while I'm at it. So my best guess is that I am about 3-4 weeks out to getting everything done.

I was actually shocked that they finished repairing the hood that soon, due to the fact that they took so long on painting the car. Seems that they are really motivated to get work done now.
