I'm finally in!

Hey everyone,

My name is Jeremy and I'm from So. Cal. I've had my 1993 240SX fastback since 1998 and I've been participating in HPDEs since around 2001. I'm an avid amateur mechanic and have been doing all of my own work since Day 1. The car has been through numerous phases throughout the year and I'm hoping with the help of the good folks here, I can do one more round of upgrades and then focus more on DRIVING.

Current mods:
- SR20DET Redtop with GT2871R 0.64 A/R, Enthalpy ECU tune, 740cc injectors, Z32 MAF
- Koyo aluminum radiator with stock clutch fan and shroud
- JIC FLT-A2 coil overs (hopefully headed to Ebay soon)
- Cusco F/R strut bars, Nismo Power Brace, Tein T/C rods, SPL subframe spacers
- Z32 front brakes w/ Hawk HPS pads, stainless brake lines
- 5 lug conversion
- 5Zigen FN01R-C wheels, 17x8 +25 front, 17x9 +35 rear
- Falken Azenis RT615 tires (225/45/R17 F, 245/45/R17 R)
- Misc other bits and pieces

Planned mods:

Like most of you, I have a pile of parts waiting to go on.
- Z32 rear brakes
- Z32 brake master cylinder
- SPL fender braces
- Composite hood
- Nismo motor mounts
- Tein tie rod ends
- SPL rear upper control arms
- ES bushing kit (probably just going to pick and choose some of the pieces)

Things that I really need to get done ASAP.
- Fabricated roll bar
- 5 point harness
- Mount MOMO fiberglass seat directly to the roll bar / chassis
- Brake pads for track duty
- Race alignment
- Eventually rebuild the motor for track reliability

The car has not been my daily driver since 2002, so I'm pretty flexible with modifications and downtime. I still like to take it out once a week on the street for fun.

Most of my track time has been at Big Willow, but I've also done some days at Streets of Willow as well as Buttonwillow. I would to make it up north at some point and give those tracks a try.

I've learned a ton reading over these pages for the past few months and I'm excited that I can be a part of it now and hopefully help further the Nissan cause! :)

Yeah, for some reason I don't have a lot of pics. I'm always too greasy to be handling a camera I guess, lol. Here are a few from Streets a few years back when I was running Eibach Sportlines and KYB AGXs and mucho body roll.

I know the feeling. I'm always too busy working on the car or having fun to post pics. I'd rather live in the moment than look at pictures of the moments after they happened.

Now if someone else is taking pics of me, that's all fine and dandy. :) (See sig for reference)

Can you give some feedback on Enthalpy? How is the their customer service? How much do you like their tune? I'm half way serious about upgrading to an s15 turbo with z32 maf, blah blah blah.

Car looks great btw. I wasn't a lurker, I started whoring on day 01.

I had the ECU done three years ago. The customer service was great. Unfortunately, the car has been in the garage since then. I've only be out to the track twice, so I haven't been able to get a good amount of testing in. I had a massive hesitation at around 4k rpm but figured out that it was due to a leaking turbo to downpipe gasket which I have since fixed

I'm looking forward to getting some serious hours under my belt soon and maybe get a dyno to make sure everything is legit. I can report back after that.
